Dec 16, 2008, A Christmas Gift for You that will Last a Lifetime...
If you, like most of us, are feeling the worldwide economic crunch, I would like to share a unique opportunity with you. No matter where you live in the world!
I keep reading that the internet is relatively immune to international economic problems. People are always looking for information on the net—and advertisers must continue to advertise in order to make money for their businesses. You can use this information to make money for your family.
Every one of you has a passion for something that you love to do and talk about - or you have an area of expertise that you can share. If you have been thinking about ways to earn extra money, why not turn your passion into a website - just like mine - but about the subject that YOU love to talk about. Have fun and make money!
And the secret to a successful website is using the SBI system. SBI makes building a website so easy that, whether you are an experienced webmaster or a green novice just like me, you will be successful.
In just a few months you will be earning a steady income from your website – larger every month. Mine is now doubling every month, even though we are in a deepening recession.
Here is the BEST NEWS of ALL! Right now, only until midnight, December 25, you can purchase 2 websites - just like mine - for $299. Keep them in the family or go together with a friend (each of you gets your own website for $149.50).
If you think about it, this is so little up-front money for an investment – SBI is almost giving the websites away as a Christmas gift to help your family.
To learn more about the SBI Christmas special go to .
And if you would like to see how I got started with my website, and how you can get started with yours, go to My Recipe for Success.
My very best wishes to you and yours for a very Blessed Holiday Season!

Dec 9, 2008, ALERT for AUSTRALIAN DOG OWNERS
Today, December 9, yet another alert was issued to dog owners. This time the problem was discovered in Australia, and the suspect dog treats are Supa Naturals Chicken breast strips, manufactured by KraMar.
The chicken dog treats are Australia's highest selling dog snacks.
KraMar has issued a statement that withdrawal of the product is merely a precaution. It stated that testing has been conducted on every shipment for bacteria and for the poison melamine, which has been connected with cases of kidney malfunction in pets overseas.
You will recall that melamine was the toxic substance from China, that contaminated dog food and resulted in the greatest dog food recall in history. Symptoms of dogs who ate the melamine are similar to those found in a number of dogs who have been diagnosed with a (usually) rare syndrome called Fanconi syndrome.
Dogs with Fanconi syndrome have glucose in the urine. But the blood levels are normal, indicating that there's some renal tubular damage or some damage to the kidneys. Dogs exhibiting these symptoms in Australia have one thing in common—they have all ingested the suspect chicken breast treats from China.
While researchers are unable to conclusively state that there is a positive connection, you would be wise to ere on the side of caution and make sure that your dog does not eat any of the dog treats in question.

Nov 25, 2008, Thanksgiving Safety Tips for Your Dog
With the start of the holiday season, and especially Thanksgiving this week, many pet parents want to know what foods are toxic to dogs. We all want to keep our dogs safe from the potentially toxic goodies that enter the home during the holiday season. Here is timely advice from the ASPCAs Dana Farbman, CVT, Senior Manager, Professional Communications:
For Thanksgiving dinner, offering a small piece of boneless, thoroughly cooked turkey, plain mashed potatoes and a smidge of pumpkin pie is not likely to be a harmful treat for your dog. Just be sure to avoid giving potentially poisonous items such as garlic, onions or chocolate, as well as goodies sweetened with xylitol (a sweetener that can lower the blood sugar of dogs and lead to life threatening signs such as seizures and liver failure). If you suspect your pet has ingested a harmful substance, on Thanksgiving or at any time, please call your vet or the ASPCA Animal Poison Control Center at 888.426.4435.

Nov 9, 2008, Breakthrough Treatment for Dogs with Eye Problems
Sinisa Grozdanic, DVM, an assistant professor of veterinary clinical sciences at Iowa State Universitys College of Veterinary Medicine, has developed a new procedure that promises to improve the quality of treatment for dogs with certain eye diseases.
Administering eye drops to dogs' eyes can be difficult at best. The new procedure, an implant that is located in the tissue around the eye, automatically disperses the medications to the dog's eyes, and it will continue to work for about a year.
The surgery to place the implant in the dog's tissues, takes only a few minutes and can be done with a local anesthetic. After the implant is in place, the medicine will release gradually, 24 hours a day, for just about a year.
Dr Groxdanic expects the procedure to help: - pannus
- conjunctiva
- pigmentary keratitis
- keratoconjunctivitis sicca
The new procedure is expected to be approved for use by veterinarians in the next 12 to 18 months.

Nov 8, 2008, Hypoallergenic Dog for the White House!
Hypoallergenic dog breeds appear to be the most important topic being discussed in the Obama camp. President-elect Obama and his family are shopping for a family dog suitable for the White House. Since the Obamas' 10 year old daughter, Malia, is allergic to dogs, the search has narrowed considerably.
A difficult decision, the Obamas will have to see how Malia reacts to individual dogs. This is because she may be allergic to danger or to saliva. In addition, people who have allergies to dogs, vary in their allergic reactions. So, testing Malia's allergic reactions to selected dogs will be the most accurate way to know if the match will work for her.
A few dogs that they might consider for the White House pet are: - Schnauzers, giant, standard, and miniature
- Labradoodle
- Poodles, miniature, toy
- Shi-Tzu
- Wirehaired fox terrier
- Yorkshire terrier
- Chihuahua
- Lhasa Apso
- Maltese
- Goldendoodle
- Greyhound
Good luck to the Obamas with their decision!
