Pumpkin Dog Cookies



Directions For
Easy Pumpkin Dog Cookies

  • Place all the ingredients in your breadmaker in the order recommended by the manufacturer.
  • Use the Dough cycle.
  • When the dough is ready, remove it from the breadmaker and divide it into thirds.
  • Roll each dough ball with a rolling pin until it is ¼” thick.
  • Using the size pumpkin cookie cutter that is best for your breed and size dog, cut out the cookies.
  • Place the cookies on a greased cookie sheet or silicone pastry mat.
  • Bake the cookies at 275-300 degrees F for about an hour or until lightly browned. Turn them once so they can bake evenly on both sides.
  • Turn off the oven and let the cookies finish drying in the oven overnight.

If you want to give them as treats for Trick or Treat at Halloween, try decorating the pumpkin cookies with jack-o-lantern faces, using a little Dog Treat Icing that has been colored with powdered food coloring!
