  • Put all the ingredients into your bread maker in the order suggested by the manufacturers.
  • Set the bread maker to the dough cycle.
  • When the dough is done, remove it and divide it into 3 equal parts.
  • Roll the dough to ½” thickness for large bones and ¼” thickness for smaller bones.
  • Use bone shaped cookie cutters to cut the cookies.
  • Place the cookies/bones on a lightly greased cookie sheet.
  • Bake at 300 degrees F for about an hour—check to make sure that the bones don’t get too brown.
  • Turn off the oven and leave the dog bone treats in the oven overnight to finish drying. They will be hard and crisp when they are done.
